[Intentlettersii] Letter of Intent from Duke Paul of Bellatrix for La Prova Dura II

[Letters of Intent for La Prova Dura II April 18-20, 2008]

Good Gentles of Canale,

I, Paul of Bellatrix, hereby announce my intent to attend the tournament
of La Prova Dura.  I also declare my intent to engage in any fighting
competition for which I am able.  It is my sincere desire that any deeds
of arms that I attempt shall serve to honor my loving wife, Baroness
Susan of Bellatrix.

 

Further, I seek to test the recovery of my body from injuries received
in the past, and to rekindle my joy in combat with skilled and honorable
opponents.

I thank the people of Canale for providing this occasion for the
demonstration and practice of chivalry and deeds of arms.
